I thought this might be an intersting topic to start up to get the 2 sides of the spectrum.  Having worked in both there are pros and cons in both.

Mom & Pops, you have more liberties with throwing people out, it seems more family/town oriented where people are excited to come to the pharmacy to strike up a convo with the RPh they have know for 30ish years or so, but also having a limited inventory and not being able to keep as many things in stock liek you would at a CVS or Walgreens.

Chains are ok to work for because usually benefits cost less per paycheck, you usually have more responsibilty with how the pharmacy is run and certain tasks to do liek scheduling, inventory mgt, CII ordering.  I basically ran a CVS i worked at, because the pharmacist was just done with the crap that was going on before I was there.

I like them both for their own respective reasons.  Of course there are a lot of things I am not mentioning. 

Any thoughts???
